Naturschutzorganisation mit wechselndem Sitz. Gegründet 1928 als Office international de documentation et de corrélation pour la protection de la nature. 1934 in International Office for the Protection of Nature umbenannt. 1956 in der bereits bestehenden International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources aufgegangen.
