Courtney Dowdall, PhD, is an applied anthropologist and professional fellow at the American Anthropological Association. She has conducted research in the Western Highlands and Boca Costa regions of Guatemala, focusing on development studies, economic anthropology, globalization, program evaluation, and commodity certification.
