vo van Hilvoorde is assistant professor at the Faculty of Human Movement Sciences (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) and professor (lector) at the School of Human Movement & Sport (Windesheim, Zwolle, the Netherlands). In his research he combines sociological and philosophical perspectives on sport and physical education, with special interest in new technologies.
