Alliance of Reformed Churches throughout the World Holding the Presbyterian Order

The Alliance of the Reformed Churches Throughout the World Holding the Presbyterian System, founded in 1875, changed its name in 1954 to the Alliance of the Reformed Churches Throughout the World Holding the Presbyterian Order. In 1970 it merged with the International Congregational Council, founded in 1949, to form the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (Presbyterian and Congregational).
