VIB combines the forces of 9 university research teams into a single institute. The institute is a close joint venture between VIB headquarters in Zwijnaarde (Gent), Belgium and the Flemish universities Antwerpen (UA), Brussels (VUB), Gent (RUG) and Leuven (KULeuven).
