Zoologičeskij institut (Sankt Petersburg)
Зоологический институт РАН основан в 1832 как Зоологический музей Императорской Академии Наук на базе зоологических коллекций Кунсткамеры, возникшей по инициативе Петра I в 1714. Переименован в Зоологический институт в 1931 в ходе реформы АН СССР.
