Yad Ṭabenqîn (Rāmat-Efʿal)

Yad Tabenkin, commemorating Yitzhak Tabenkin, is the research and documentation center of the United Kibbutz Movement. Yitzchak Tabenkin (1897-1971) was one of the first generation of leaders who built the modern Jewish state and among the founders of the labour movement in the Land of Israel and of Kibbutz Hameuchad. The research activies are carried out by the following departments: Institute for Kibbutz and Labour Movement Studies, Institute for Social Studies, Institute for Settlement, Defence and Foreign Policy Studies - The Galili Institute -, Institute for Research on Zionist and Pioneer Movements in Eastern and Sephardic Communites.
