Ngo, Tak-Wing

Tak-Wing Ngo is Extraordinary Professor of Asian History at Erasmus University Rotterdam. (2008-) He came to the Netherlands in 1995, and since then has been teaching politics and political economy of China at Leiden University. Before joining the academia, he worked as an anti-corruption officer at the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong. After that he worked as a journalist, and was the Chief Editor of the daily newspaper Hong Kong Daily News. He obtained his PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
