Chinese native and graduate of Peking Univ. and Southern Connecticut State Univ., New Haven, Conn.; Prof. in the Dep. of Archives and Special Collections at Rollins College, Winter Park, Fla., where he joined the faculty in 1995; published many articles on information studies, international librarianship, historical research, and Chinese business management; he has team-taught courses on Chinese history and culture and frequently taken students on field study trips to China
