Aujla, Wendy

is the Criminology Program Advisor and Field Placement Coordinator, in the Department of Sociology, at the University of Alberta. Her research interests include gender-based violence, (re)victimization, “honour”-based crimes, forced marriages, policing, qualitative research methods, community-engaged pedagogies, critical race feminism, and intersectionality. Dr. Aujla’s work is published in Victims and Offenders, Journal of Qualitative Criminal Justice and Criminology, Journal of Family Violence, International Journal of Criminal Justice Science, International Journal of Qualitative Methods and other venues. She recently co-authored a chapter in the co-edited Routledge International Handbook of Femicide and Feminicide.
