research interests primarily focus on challenges and risks in the psychosocial development of adolescents, conformism as an important defence mechanism affecting relational and adaptive processes in the peer group, caring and therapeutic counselling, the phenomenon of radicalisation in the context of adolescent functioning, social research methodology, and quantitative data analysis. Her methodological and statistical interests are related to the development and validation of self-reporting scales (e.g., factor analysis, reliability and dimensionality analyses, measurement invariance), structural equation modeling (SEM) and meta-analyses.
