Aletraris, Lydia
is an Associate Research Scientist at the University of Georgia School of Social Work with a dual research focus on substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and on human trafficking. As Assistant Director of the Center for Research on Behavioral Health and Human Services Delivery, she examines SUD treatment funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the U.S. Department of Justice. As Research Director and Project Coordinator of the CenHTRO, she is coordinating research among seven U.S. and internationally based multi-disciplinary research teams that are conducting trafficking prevalence research in six countries around the world.
