Kawashima, Tenshi

She was a Graduate Research Assistant for the CenHTRO and is a PhD Degree in Sociology at the University of Georgia. Her thesis examines how cultural and material forms of inequality intersect to shape people’s evaluation of female-typed occupations. In APRIES, her primary responsibilities include development of household survey tools and analyses of quantitative data to understand human trafficking in Sub-Saharan Africa.
