Deventer, M. C. van

Marianina van Deventer has a BA degree from the University of Namibia, a BA honours in Geography from the University of South Africa and a senior teacher's diploma from the University of South Africa. She has 26 years' teaching experience and has taught geography for 16 years. Marianina wa a marker for the Grade 12 Namibia examinations (geography) for 9 years, during which time she was team leader for 4 years. She has also assisted with the writing of the geography syllabus at NIED. She has been appointed as the Senior Education Officer for Arts subjects in Namibia at NIED since December 2019.
