Barbu, Tudor

Dr. habil. Tudor Barbu is Senior Researcher I at Institute of Computer Science of the Romanian Academy. He is coordinator of Image & Video Processing and Analysis Compartment and also member of the leading Scientific Council of the institute. He is Corresponding Member of Academy of Romanian Scientists. He is also PhD Coordinator at SCOSAAR. Tudor Barbu published 4 books, 10 book chapters, 4 theses, over 180 articles in recognized international journals and international conference volumes, and 42 research reports, getting 1560 citations and a H-index = 23. He was director of 4 contract-based projects and received more than 20 scientific awards for his research activity. He also worked as visiting professor/academic at several top universities in the world.
