Khmer writer and musician from the Bronx, New York; she and her family were refugees from Cambodia who survived the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime; poetry editor for Newtown Literary; founding member and Board President of the Cambodian American Literary Arts Association (CALAA); born in a refugee camp in Thailand after her parents fled Cambodia after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime; sponsored to come to the United States and resettled in the Bronx where she grew up; an adjunct lecturer at City College of New York (CUNY) in Harlem
