Steenvoorde, Richard

Received a doctorate in law (2008) and theology (2023). After pursuing a career in politics, academia, and civil society organisations, he joined the Order of Preachers (Dominicans) in 2013. Then he studied theology at the universities of Rome, Oxford, and Leuven. In 2019, he became a student pastor in Rotterdam. As of 2022, he is an academic associate at KU Leuven, Department of Theology and Religious Studies. Expertise: Political Theology, Catholic Social Teaching, Law (Church-State relations), and International Relations.
