Zacks, Leonard

Leonard Zacks has been CEO of Zacks Investment Research since 1978. Prior to co-founding Zacks, Len was a quant equity analyst at A.G. Becker & Co. in Chicago and an analyst at the Rand Corporation in Los Angeles. He received a PhD in operations research (1969), an MS in physics (1967), and a BS in mathematics (1965) all from MIT. Zacks Investment Research, whose original mission was to create more accurate consensus estimates, now provides a wide range of investment information and backtesting software services to individual and professional investors.
