Ratzlaff, Alexandra

Alexandra Ratzlaff completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Archaeology, Boston University in 2014; Following a Fulbright post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Haifa and a National Endowment for the Humanities post-doctoral fellowship at the Albright Institute of Archaeological Research, she accepted her current position as Assistant Professor of Classical Archaeology and Digital Humanities in the Department of Classical Studies, Brandeis University; Her main research interests include Bronze Age archaeology of the Levant; Roman and Byzantine archaeology; maritime archaeology and trade; Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine ceramics; and the Roman army.
