Meer, Marcus

Research Fellow in Medieval History at the German Historical Institute London since 2020 ; PhD from Durham University in a cotutelle arrangement with the University of Münster ; historian of medieval culture and communication with a comparative interest in England, the German-speaking lands, and more recently also the Low Countries in the later Middle ages ; obtained an MSt in Medieval History at the University of Oxford and his BA in History and Linguistics at Bielefeld University, Germany ; in 2022, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society
