Ansari, Narges

Narges Ansari is a social anthropologist. Her doctoral thesis, funded by a European Research Council studentship, considers conceptions of agency and subjectivity within Shiʿa rituals of mediation in the revolutionary and post-revolutionary context of Iran (UCL Anthropology, 2023). She was the 2022 recipient of the British Society of Middle Eastern Studies Early Career Development Prize.
