Soruç, Adem

Adem Soruç is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at the Department of English Translation and Interpreting, Samsun University, Turkey. He taught at the MATESOL programme at the University of Bath, the UK, before returning to Turkey. He is researching Instructed SLA, neurolinguistics, the use of English as the medium of instruction in higher education and individual learner differences. He has published a wide range of articles in reputable journals such as System, ELT Journal, IRAL, and RELC Journal. He has also co-authored and published a monograph on individual learner differences from Palgrave.
