Bowman, Chelsey

Psychologist in the Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children's National Hospital. She works in the Pediatric Pain Medicine Program and Safe Concussion Outcome Recovery and Education Program. Her clinical interests include providing evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents and their families for chronic and acute medical and psychiatric conditions. Dr. Bowman's research interests include understanding the impact of a range of victimization forms on the health and well-being of adolescents and college students. She has a particular research interest in the health and well-being of collegiate student-athletes and has received two grants from the National Collegiate Athletic Association. She intends to utilize her research to develop, inform and enhance prevention programs and clinical services for children, adolescents and young adults.
