Rochester, Minn. - A memorial service for Dr. Leonard Aaro, former senior consultant at Mayo Clinic, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Charter House, with the Rev. Gary Benson and intern pastor Eric Anspach-Hanson, co-officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Dr. Aaro, 79, died early Sunday (Dec. 11, 2005). He was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Aberdeen, S.D. He attended Northern State University and transferred to Northwestern University Medical School where he received his bachelor's degree and, in 1950, his doctorate of medicine ...
