Born in London in 1925 ... Kenneth became a Lecturer in Scottish Literature at Glasgow University from 1966-76, being promoted to Senior Lecturer in 1976. He retired in 1990, after which he lived predominantly in Portugal until deteriorating health made him return to Scotland to live with his family in Helensburgh until his death shortly afterwards on 23rd March 2009 at the age of 83 years ...
