Richardson, Robert

Son of William Richardson; awarded a DD in 1766; baptized in April 1731 and attended Westminster School before continuing his education at Emmanuel College, Cambridge (1745-50). He rose to be fellow of Emmanuel in 1755, prebendary of Lincoln (1760-73), and royal chaplain; he was rector of Wallington, Hertfordshire, from 1759 to 1781, and during this period was also rector of All Hallows-the-Great, Thames Street (1776-8), and St Anne's, Soho (1778-81). He died at Dean Street, Soho, on 27 September 1781.
