Chinese Academy of Sciences. Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology

The Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology (APM) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was established by merging the Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the CAS (founded in 1958) and the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics of the CAS (founded in 1957). Approved by CAS, the construction work of APM started from September 2017. Then upon the approval of the State Commission Office of Public Sectors Reform (SCOPSR), AMP was officially established in April 2019.
