Uselding was appointed Dean of the Saginaw Valley State University College of Business and Management in 1998 and is now the Dean of the College of Business at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Previously, Dr. Uselding served as Dean of Business at the University of Illinois-Chicago, the University of Toledo, and the University of Northern Iowa. He received his Ph.D. in Economics and his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University. Dr. Uselding holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Cornell University. Dr. Uselding was the founder of the Family Business Program at SVSU, a resource and networking program for family-owned businesses in the region. The scholarship was established in May 2005 as a farewell and recognition of Dr. Uselding’s accomplishments by his friends and colleague
