De Gara, John P.
1931–2020
A specialist in the study of international organizations, he started working at the United Nations Secretariat in 1980 from which he retired as Senior Officer in 1992. He was the author of several publications and was editor or co-editor in the 1960s and 1970s of several issues of the annual "Issues Before the General Assembly of the United Nations".
