Associate Professor (tenure track) of Russian Language and Culture, University of Eastern Finland, Joensuu Campus; specializes in post-Soviet Russian literature from the perspectives of gender, cultural memory and multilingualism; Ph.D. dissertation examined Russian women's autobiographical texts of the 1990s; current research focuses on multilingual literature in Russian context, displacement and postmemory in post-Soviet women's writing, and the reception and translation of women's writing in Russian-Finnish literary relations of the post war period.
