Kawash, Leila Kubba

Leila Kubbaz was born of a Swiss-American mother and an Iraqi father. She grew up and received her primary and secondary education in Baghdad. She then moved to the U.K. to continue her studies at the Manchester School of Art and Architecture from where she obtained her National Diploma of Art and Design. Leila went on to study for a period of five years at the Corcoran College of Art in Washington D.C. and took courses in printmaking and painting at St. Martin's College in London. Founder of Artspace Hamra in Beirut.
