Yellin, Edward L.

"Edward L. Yellin earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois, and did post-doctoral work at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He co-edited "Cardiac Dynamics" and "Cardiac Mechanics and Function in the Normal and Diseased Heart". He tought and did research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. His research focused on problems of blood flow across the mitral valve. He retired as Professor Emeritus in the department of physiology and biophysics."
