Bernstein, Paul

1927–2019

Pittsford - Devoted and loving husband of Irma, Paul Bernstein passed away at age 92 ... He came to RIT in 1966, where he served as Dean of Liberal Arts (1966 - 1976) and Dean of Graduate Studies (1976 - 1992). Later he taught International Business from 1993 to 2003. Dr. Bernstein earned his B.S. and M.S. from Temple University, and he was awarded a Ph.D in European History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1955. Numerous articles resulted from his research in Sweden. Dr. Bernstein also co-authored two volumes on The History of Western Civilization, a book on American Work Values (1997), Career Education and Quality of Working Life (1980) and a book called Letters to Eleanor: Voices of the Great Depression (2004)
