Dutt, Binode Behari

He has also written numerous essays, short stories and personal anecdotes from his vast knowledge in the fields of Philosophy, Religion, Society and Education policies. Most of his written works were published in Bengali newspapers and magazines of the same genre and also as books. He was a Professor at the University of Calcutta and also the Controller of Examination. Nearly two decades of students of the renowned Calcutta University had his signature on their certificates. He was instrumental in establishing an undergraduate college for Science and Arts, Motijhil College as there was no other similar Institution in that part of the city.
