Currie, Morgan

Lecturer in data and society in science, technology and innovation studies at the University of Edinburgh. Her research looks at open and administrative data, automation in the welfare state, activists’ data practices, social justice and the city, web maps and cultural mapping, drawing from the fields of STS, media studies, information studies, and critical data studies. She was awarded a Ph.D. in information studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
