Kuo, Jason

His fields of teaching and research include international political economy, comparative political institutions, political psychology and applied experimental methods. He works on globalization and governance across an array of emerging issues, including food and drug safety, environmental sustainability, maritime security, public diplomacy, as well as epidemic control and prevention. He also studies how populism arise from domestic electoral competition in the increasingly digitized world. He has area expertise on the the Indo-Pacific region, especially Taiwan and the US-China relations.
