Whiteman, Martha

Martha Whiteman is Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Education, Inclusion and Diversity at the Moray House School of Education, University of Edinburgh. After completing her first degree in Psychology at Colby College in the USA, Martha went on to complete her MSc and PhD in Public Health Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. Martha joined CREID in February 2010 and is currently working on the Deaf Achievement Scotland Study, looking at the outcomes of young deaf people in relation to their educational experiences. Martha’s research interests include individual differences in personality, health and well-being, and deaf education
