Her research deals with the analysis of cooperation mechanisms between international organizations (UN, European Union, NATO, International NGOs) in peace operations. Therefor the following fields of research are covered: peace operations, crisis-management operations, humanitarian policies, inter-organizational relations, international organizations, civil-military relations. In the geographic areas: Afghanistan, Balkans, Horn of Africa.
