Altmann, Konrad

Prof. Dr. Konrad Altmann is president of LAS-CAD GmbH, and founded this company in 1993 ... K. Altmann has over 35 years of progressively responsible experience in computational physics especially in the field of optics. He wrote more than 25 scientific publications in molecular physics, propagation engineering, and laser technology, and applied for more than 25 patents, of which 11 have been granted. In 1977 - 91 he developed a simulation program for the gasdynamic high energy laser project of Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm AG, Munich. Also he wrote programs for the simulation of laser beam propagation in the atmosphere. In 2014 he has become Adjunct Professor of the National Engineering Center for DPSSL of the Chinese Academy of Science. Please find a biographical profile of K.
