Hatzikidi, Katerina

Social anthropologist and postdoctoral researcher at the ERC-funded PACT: Populism and Conspiracy Theory project at the University of Tübingen. She is also Research Affiliate at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Oxford. Her work explores, among other things, questions of political and religious transformations, with a special country focus on Brazil. Katerina obtained her PhD from the University of Oxford in 2018. Her doctoral research formed part of the project ‘Currents of faith, places of history’, funded by the Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA) Network. Previously, she was also Visiting Researcher at the Museu Nacional, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Stipendiary Fellow at the Institute of Latin American Studies, University of London, and 2019-20 Swiss Government Excellence Postdoctoral Fellow at the Graduate Institute.
