Brogan, Jan
Jan Brogan has been a journalist in New England for more than thirty years. She is a staff writer at the Worcester Telegram and the Providence Journal, where she won the Gerald Loeb award for distinguished financial writing. Her freelance work has appeared in the Boston Globe, several regional and national magazines, and two essay compilations. She is the author of four murder mysteries, one of which was purchased by Transactional Pictures for development into a television series. Originally from New Jersey, she's lived outside Boston since college. She has a BS in journalism from Boston Universtiy and a master's in English from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
