Ghaye, Tony

Tony Ghaye is a community-based researcher, deep into sustainable action for positive social change, human rights elevation & wellbeing. He works to promote social justice, lessen disadvantage and challenge prejudice. In 2021, he was formally honored by the GLOBAL PEACE organization for his work which contributed to 100 Global Peace Inter-Generational Dialogues (IGDs). Tony is regarded as the world’s top Participatory & Appreciative Action Researcher (PAAR), as a world class facilitator & a global leader in strength- based leadership development. He has written or edited 15 academic books and 135 scientific papers, many exploring how our “best self” is a blend of achievement, growth, support and continuous learning. Currently, Tony leads the Global Human Rights and Wellbeing project called U MATTER project. He is a Professor at Loughborough University in London, UK.
