Sklyar, Aleksandr

He researches the Fukushima nuclear disaster, with a specific focus on family life and everyday decision-making (about food, bodily integrity, residence, play, schooling, etc.) by Fukushima mothers. He has also led collaborations between atomic bombing survivors and American undergraduate students as a project leader, interpreter, and translator. He is also one of the creators of the Nagasaki Atomic History and the Present website (nagasaki.colgate.edu).
