He is a director of Marxism Theory Research and Construction Project of CPC Central Committee and the National Social Science Fund Project; a council member of Translator Association in Hubei Province; an adjunct professor of Translation Study Center at Central China Normal University; an expert reviewer of the academic journal “Foreign Languages Research”; a visiting professor at Columbia University in the USA; a member of American Political Association and American Educational Research Association; a gainer of the 31st Postdoctoral Fund in China and a gainer of the outstanding doctoral dissertation in Hubei Province. Over the years, he has taught such courses as Management Ethics and Methodology of Ideological and Political Education ,etc.
