Tolstoy, Paul

Paul Tolstoy is Professor of Archaeology in the Départment d'Anthropologie of the Université de Montréal, Québec, Canada. He holds a PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University (New York) and a Doctorat d'État ès Lettres from the Université de Paris I-Sorbonne. He has worked in Mexico, Peru and Ecuador, and is currently completing a monograph on the evolution of barkcloth technology worldwide (The journal of Polynesian Society, Auckland, March 2008)
