During my 21 years at the University of Illinois (Professor Emeritus), I have taught Introductory Astronomy both for general education students and for astronomy majors, and Instrumentation Techniques. In the period 1989–2000, I taught the combined graduate/advanced-undergraduate course in Galaxies and Cosmology. I continue to maintain an active interest in extragalactic astronomy.
