Wilson, Steve

He is the curator of the film collection at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin which includes the archives of David O. Selznick, Gloria Swanson, Nicholas Ray, Robert de Niro, and many others. In 2014, he organized a major exhibition on "Gone With the Wind" and wrote the companion book, "The Making of" Gone With the Wind, for the University of Texas Press. His other exhibitions include "Making Movies", about film production, and "Shooting Stars", about Hollywood glamour photography. Wilson has also served as project director of numerous film and video preservation projects, including the films of Norman Bel Geddes.
