Becker Aarseth, Mathilde

Postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Islamic and Middle East studies at the University of Oslo. The focus of my research is the state-building project of the group The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Her current research project Oil in Transition (UiO:Energi) investigates political discourse on climate change and the "green shift" in Norway, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.
