grew up in Lanarkshire; studied textile design at Glasgow School of Art; moved to London where worked designing rugs for Habitat; went back to university to study design for interactive media then co-founded interactive media company based in Shoreditch; moved back to Scotland; now works as illustrator and author of picture books
