Wan, Michael

Michael Wan(retired) led the Data Intensive Cyber Environment (DICE) group of Institute of Neural Science (INC) at University of California, San Diego. He is the chief software architect of the Integrated Rule-Oriented Data System (iRODS) and the Storage Resource Broker (SRB). Before SRB, Michael spent 10 years developing operating systems and archival storage systemsat SDSC. Michael received his B.S. degree from Illinois State University and M.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology.
